ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

In conjunction with an exceptional CAST and CREW, we, the producers of Maangamizi - The Ancient One were additionally blessed with the help and assistance from people and organizations spanning the globe, without their committed support we would have been lost in bringing Maangamizi - The Ancient One to the screen.

We at Gris-Gris Films along with Producer/Director Martin Mhando not only brought together an international cast and crew, but also a group of international investors, all of whom believed in the project.

Thanks to the government of Tanzania, we were able to move forward in our production.

Additionally, as cast and crew members descended on Tanzania, with over and above the amount of baggage allowed on a flight, we must thank our air carriers , who were patient and understanding of our predicament as "low-budget, independent filmmakers."

We would especially like to thank the late Mwalimu,nye4 His Honorable Julius Nyerere -Tanzania's first President -who's exemplary vision allowed us to reach beyond our own limitations and strive to be the best humans possible and to stand in unity and in solidarity as one people.  With his vision as our foundation we were able to move forward in this endeavor embracing the wonderful people of Tanzania and of East Africa as our own.
